The security light on my FLHTCUSE5 recently came on.  Now, everytime I try to start it the siren goes off.  I can get it started after a few tries but it's pretty annoying.  Is there a way to reset your security system??

First off, have you checked your battery in the fob(s) lately?  Before resetting anything, change them out first and that may take care of your problem.  I had a bad battery in one of my new fobs and it did the same thing when I used that one.  Changed the battery and no problems.  I now change them every year on my birthday just in case....probably overkill but better safe than sorry down the road.

Thanks for the advice.  I actually changed my battery last night after looking at my manual and still had the same issue.

OK....

How long ago did you put on you Custom Dynamics LED turn signals?  If you didn't install the load equalizer, it may (did mine) mess with your security alarm....anything else you may have installed recently (electronic) that may interfere with your alarm?

....Just throwing some things out there for ya before any reset....

The only electronic thing I've replaced recently was my trailer wiring harness.  I've always had one but just put a new one in.  Keep thinking about it.  I'm going to get a new fob battery today in case the one I found in my closet was bad.  Thanks,
