I have a question for the firemen...  I occasionally see those "Pierce" name plates on the fire trucks.  There is the one on the left truck in reply number 7. I have a nephew, Pierce. Can you think of any way I could obtain one of those name plates? I tried calling the company but got nowhere.   :nixweiss:

Their "home" plant is in Appleton WI.  They have a small gift shop just inside the front door and they sell that "PIERCE" emblem in the store.  Try them direct and if you still can't find one, PM me and I'll contact our Pierce dealer.

All of you red and yellow guys are right. And when you mix red and yellow - you get a color that has the BEST characteristics of each...

Not as easy finding fire engine dealers like looking up a local Ford store.

But, it just so happens in my work area we have a dealer for all the major brands of fire equipment, including Pierce.
So, if you have no luck by October let me know and I'll check the locals. No doubt though, if you think HD stuff is pricey ...............

It usually takes red non-emergency vehicles longer to get somewhere because folks are always ogling your bike, car, or boat.
