A little something for my dash
« on: August 29, 2013, 05:08:47 PM »

Got the bottom rocker in the mail today.  Would have over 225k if I'd known about the mileage program when I got my first H-D in '99.

:2vrolijk_21:  I didn't start the mileage program until I had put 30k+ on my '05.  Regardless I don't have nearly those miles.  Good stuff   :2vrolijk_21:

Had a gf from the middle 90s to early 03 that loved all the pins and patches.  Unfortunately she rode someone else's "bike" and I made her ride on  :huepfenlol2: .

Don't think I'd have ever messed with doing any extra paperwork just to go on a bike ride but she dug the mileage and the ABC stuff and collecting pins at sites.  I was riding a lot more then too.  In the six or seven years she bothered with it I collected pins up to this one.

They really are a little bit cool.  Still don't think I'd ever do paperwork to keep track of a bike ride.  But I'm glad the GF had that as a value added benefit...  ???

Jerry, are they still doing the patch rockers too?  Or is it just the pin stuff now?

I need to figure out (find out from HOG) where I am in the mileage program. Wish it was a way you could check on line and see what mileage you last registered at so you knew when you reached the next milestone.

I don't remember where/how the verification was even done.  I was too lazy to mess with it so she had to.  Service counter check in or something else?

I know you have to have a dealer verify your mileage and sign the form to send in... my problem is I don't remember what mileage I had when I sent the last form so I don't know the mileage for the next accomplishment. :(

Don't you have to check on the form what mileage accomplishment you are sending it in for? I'll give HOG a call and see what the mileage was last time I recieved one... I'm thinking it was 25k... so I should be eligible for the 50k now.
