Interesting comments from long time drinkers of the CVO kool aid!
I somewhat feel the same, from a financial perspective. When I was still in the work force, it was easier to justify $40K to have the top of the line, with many features that were not easily available on standard models, whether you needed them or not. I've loved both of my CVOs and don't regret getting them, but I guarantee they will be the last. If I am still alive when it is time to trade the current one for a new bike, it will be one that I can get for an even trade, or just a few thousand on top of a trade. By that time, the non-CVO Ultra/Limited will likely be a better, more refined bike than the one I am trading in, and it will cost me little out of pocket.
