I prefer my tongue weight to be a bit higher. It all comes down to how the bike feels.

I had mine very heavy once, wife loaded the cooler full of meat felt like an elephant on my hitch.

I would ask your insurance company if it is covered by your bike insurance.

Your insurance should cover it as it is attached to the scoot......mine is covered anyway.

We have progressive and are required to have a rider to cover the trailer
