Are they very expensive though

I got mine ebay delivered for $110usd.  It works ok, is a pain to put over the bike.  I use standard covers for my other bikes, the bubble for my antique, because it is so effin good lookin.

I got mine and put the SERK in it for a week.  First off, the SERK barely fits in the touring bubble.  Based upon the pictures from the MoCo site, I have no idea how the hell they got an UC in there!

Also, you will need about three people to pull it over the top to keep from dragging the plastic (which sticks to chrome/paint/mirrors, etc...) over the bike and to zip it up.

BTW:  The little foam "hat" filter sucks!  My bike was filthy after a week, definately put a better filter on it.  I cut up a new furnace filter and in put it up against the fan, which seemed to help capture the dust better.

It really needs to be bigger than it is!!!

I also put in a box of silicia gel and a hygormeter so I could control the amount of moisture in the bubble keeping it around 50%.

Thanks for the frank comments, bp.  I'll pass.  I think it's a good idea poorly executed, at least at this point.

Might check with Mr or MrsWe for insights on that enclosure product.  Seem to recall that being what MrWe took with him on an extended TDY a year or so ago.

Absolutely correct. I used something very similar to the one on this site. http://www.discountramps.com/motorcycle-pocket.htm

I was in Montgomery Alabama and it weathered two tornados! It does lay on the bike so you need to make sure the fit is good (don't want a lot of extra cloth) but I was very happy with it.  :2vrolijk_21:

What's nice about this one is it does not touch the bike, so no worries about harming the paint...kinda pricey though, but if you were going to use it for several years, it would be worth it.  Looks like it stores easily as well.

I do not personally have or use this product, but a very good friend of mine, Bob Biddle, does and he's an older extremely expericed true biker.  If he endorses anything, I believe him.  Man, I have not seen Bob in a couple of years, so thanks for asking a question that made such a nice memory come to mind.    ;)
Ms. WeCVO,
This Bob Biddle fella' - short, balding, worked parts at East Coast Harley in Dumfries for several years???  Just wondering - I've known THIS Bob Biddle a while myself.  A real hoot.  Quite a co-ink-i-dink if it's the same guy.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

That would be him.  I heard that he was the lead road captain with Orange HOG chapter a few years ago, he has bad hips, bought a house near the entrance to Skyline Drive that has a straight up driveway, but I have not seen him around.  He is a heck of a nice guy.  His driveway has a street name something top........
:thinking2:  It'll come to me.  Perhaps Charlie knows him, as I think he is involved with the Orange chapter some.
