Sounds like I might as well just left it stock!
Like I've been advised:  "If you don't know leaver A, then leave 'er B

Too late now!
I don't know how they did it, but they remapped SOME kind of canned map and will be delivering the damn thing tomorrow.
BTW,they tuned it for a SE air cleaner that's on back order.

I've already lost my excitement for getting this bike.  Just another frickin' harley.

I'll join you in the scotch! The Balvenie Doublewood 12-year-old Highland single malt is one of my faves...  :2vrolijk_21:

Glad you have such a good attitude about this. There does not appear to be much difference between the new stock cam and the SE 255s. The pre-2014 stock non-CVO cams were vastly different, with negative overlap. But the 2014 stockers are very similar to the SE 255s... both have 13 overlap, and the valve timing is similar but a bit different, with later intake and exhaust timing.

I think SE 254E cams would work much better than SE 255s in a 103... but it's too late for you now.! :nixweiss:

ques ?  doesn't  the SE 255 cam have a lot ccp compared to the  2014 cams  and the compression ratio was lower in the stock engine with the 255's ...so with  the new higher compression 2014 engines and the SE 255 cam installed wont that be hard on   motor parts ?

This bike isn't a screamin' chicken.  It's a lowly 103.
I'll probably have to replace the whole engine eventually.  Or trade it in on anther questionable harley product.
I do think the 255 cam is tough on these engines.

If the 103 is water cooled it has 10:1 and air cooled is 9.7:1 as they were before. So while they are different I think with a good tune it will be fine. Just not so sure what the dealer did and you really need to find out before they claim you screwed with the bike so your warranty is void.

Thanks Steve, you're giving me hope.
I'm going to stay on it.  I think the dealer will stand up to any problem created by their recommended parts.
If I could have just changed the AFR and let 'er breathe I wouldn't have changed the cams.
I'll have it dyno tuned after the break in.
