Wish I could do that...

I'll probably stick with my oil change and be proud to do it myself...   :(

Impressive work!  Can't wait to see more !!!!!

Oil changes are crucial, but make sure you have your cam chest inspected around 25000km  You may have no choice but to do what I had to do. Hope yours is all good though. Cheers.

I can just imagine how much better these bushings will work compared to the OEM.  The OEM axle has a very short shoulder that slides through the bushing, and even then it is a very loose fit. The glide pro goes together with a very precise fit. These bushings hold the entire rear end together for god sakes!! I don't understand how Harley can be OK with the quality of the stock items. It is such a easy improvement and will achieve great results for handling and general feel of there product. To much focus on HD belts, shirts and coffee mugs and not enough on the actual drive trains of there bikes.

    Nap time pooch.
My stock bushings got so bad that my friends told me they thought I was gonna crash every time I went into a turn because it wobbled so bad. I guess I was just used to it and I didn't think it was that bad.

I am happy to say that after installing the Glide Pro system it now rails through a turn and feels very solid :2vrolijk_21:
NO MORE WOBBLE!! :2vrolijk_21:

We all know the MoCo does not believe in quality suspension parts or bushings or building good handling bikes. Otherwise all these people would not be going to the aftermarket to fix the issues with handling and ride quality. All they think is if we throw a lot of chrome or blacked out parts on a bike and call it a CVO that we will automatically buy
it and they are right because we do.

Everything is lookin very sweet...nothing like quality parts !!!  Yes, it is very sad too see that we have to go to the aftermarket to make our bikes run and ride right;  especially after paying so much cash for these things....even worse when they are CVO bikes,  Harley's so called flagship bikes..

Keep up the good work brother, can't wait to see the pics when she's done.  I hope I can get in to see Raph soon....

This is the reason I think our trades should be worth more to the dealer because we spent the money to make the bike into the bike that :drink: should have been delivered to us.

Sorry to hear about problems in cam chest. I thought mine was bad when my cam chain tensioner broke and caused flat end of cam to wear both directions where gear ramped forward and back. My crank out of roundness was .004. Since you are going to split the case...replace all bearings inner and outer will help keep flywheels running true and engine to run better.

Well it's all back together and looking sweeeeeeet.  Just waiting for some RSD rocker covers to finish it off. Cant wait to hear it run. Here are some picks of the, almost complete bike.  Front fender is getting changed as I got hit by a car this summer ( small tap  ) and the front fender got crunched. Insurance paid out so I get a fresh fender out of the deal. Cheers.
