Ken, is it true it doesn't even rain on a trike?

It's only true if Ken isn't riding with said trike!
Sorry Ken.

Chip's unfortunately quite correct. It WOULD rain... which is why Wiz doesn't let me ride his TG!

It seems there is a lot of bashing of the Deluxe. Look at it as I do. I just sold my 2011 CVO Streetglide as I have become older and the weight of the streetglide with moving it around and parking it as to not having to move it much took some of the joy of riding. I had one of the first Deluxe in 05 and loved it.I had put a sundowner seat and taller backrest for my wife and she was very comfortable on it. I bought an 08 streeglide in 08 for a better ride over longer overnight rides.Always wanted a cvo and bought one in2011. Now at age 75 I thought I would have to go to a trike to keep riding and feel comfortable with it. now that Harley has come out with the deluxe in a cvo I can still stay on two wheels for a few years more, and still have a CVO. some say it is a chicks bike but let me tell you it is also a great bike for us older and short legged people.  Just keep in mind that the Deluxe is what it is for good or bad but it is still a CVO.Sooner or later you will get older and have to either down size your bike or go to a trike as I am doing. Don't be to quick to judge what others like or dislike. You younger riders should ride and enjoy your bikes and just remember time catches all of us. Stay safe.
      Thanks Older Guy

Well, my CVO Road Glide Ultra is gone. Gotta say I really loved that bike. IMHO the frame mounted fairing has it all over the Batwing. Hopefully in 2015 a CVO RG Ultra will reappear.

Took delivery yesterday of a 2014 FLHTCUTG in Blackend Cayenne. This color is the darkest red I have seen from H-D and absolutely beautiful! My salesman was trying to brief me on the new features and when the sun hit I was TOTALLY distracted. :o Gonna take the BSR on a ride today and get her impresssions. She already sat on it and likes the extended backrest. Plus, it looks like they re-positioned the tourpak. I removed my George Anderson bracket from my old ride but my first impressions suggest it won't fit and is probably not needed. Oh, the new info display and stereo are the bomb! Gotta say, it looks like the MOCO made some nice updates this year.

And.....before somebody posts the typical "This Thread Is Worthless Without Pics" I will post some later today. First things first. Time to ride my friends.....  :)

Maybe you need two?  Congratulations on the new trike. Looking forward to seeing pictures of it.  How's this one for the BSR?

Gotta agree with OlderGuy about the Deluxe.  It's amazing how much more relaxed I am at 71 yrs. of age on my Softtail Special than my SEEG just due to the reduced weight.  We all get older (if we're lucky) and need to make adjustments.  :'( spyder

Here ya go...sitting outside the dealership before I drove off. Just like most say...pictures don't do it justice.

Put a little over 100 miles on it today. The BSR is happy...so EVERYBODY is happy.

Congrats, Jerry!  That's one fine 'sickle!

Did you look at the Boss Hoss trikes before you bought yours?  I don't know how you could've resisted one of those sweet rides!   :nervous:

Enjoy your new ride for many safe, enjoyable years!  After all, a Jazzy scooter isn't far down the road after a trike...  :'(
