113" is a low cost upgrade!

Several of our Factory CVO 110's have 30k to 70k miles on them... No liners shifted yet.  Any reason not to bore factory 110 cylinders .060 over for 113 pistons while putting in new cams or headwork?

Is there enough meat in the cylinders for the 4.060 piston? Is this true for ALL years of 110's?

Short factory 110 spigots are a no no with 4 5/8 crank right? We have not found anyone that has tried and failed nor tried and succeeded.

Here's my 110's dyno (compared to a 120 with a similar build on the same dyno) with Woods 408-6, headwork and upgraded springs, 5.3 injectors, 58mm TB, roller rockers, Fatcat. Stock pistons and bottom end. I currently have 36000miles.

Here is my all bore 113 suburban hd pistons kit kury 24 57mm tb wfo larry heads supertrapp 2/1, set at 10.1 to 1 tuned by bob at razorback. Great power everywhere, no pinging, hottest oil temp has been is 220.
Very happy with it, if done over i would have left the dome on the pistons for more power, but I think this would run on 89 octane if it had to.

What about the guys that bored the 110 cylinders to 113 and then had leak issues?? This has been tried in some case's it worked fine in others it did not. With HD as cheap as they does anyone really think if they could use one cylinder they would have.. Comparing a 103 to a 107 is one thing but as these engines grow in size so is the power. The two cylinders kits 110-113 are not really close when you take a much closer look. Not an engineer so I cannot state the "why" on the changes but never had any issues with the 113 cylinder but have seen the 110 have issue once bore to the 113 spec.  No failure of the cylinder but oil weepage and base leaks seem to be the norm more so than the oddity.

The 110 and 113 barrel castings are the same with a few very important exceptions, the spigot length and OD dimensions. This is just a machining specification change at HD
It isn't that hard to pop over 120/120 even with Harleys 259 at 110". If Suburbans kit proves reliable in the long haul then we can declare victory. The HD 113 with their 4.060 barrels is a winner when set up properly. I have no issue with REV Performance 113 kits for the 110 either.

Seems to be far less problems truing the bottom of the cylinder and using a base gasket

Less expensive option @ $375 for the pistons  total cost for the kit thru me would be $550 ish

The Rev perf kit is $ 1099 and has wiseco pistons

 Correct Steve

the pistons in my previous link only require boring for install, should check deck height as well .
