Attached is a screenshot of my track log as shown in "Mapsource". My GPS is a Garmin 276C (also a marine chart plotter).
The log shows speed, location, track leg, time etc.

My unit has shown a bogus max speed of 375 mph, that is the highest it ever showed that was an error. It has showed 739 mph, pressed against the window coming home from Vegas this past winter.
