HELP - Exhaust options for 2001 FLTRSEI2
« on: October 16, 2013, 12:01:11 PM »

Hello,
Need a little more sound on the Road Glide and really liked the screamin eagle street cannon slip ons.  the book says they fit 09 and later touring with 110ci engines.  Not a techie so dont know all the ins and outs on the 4" size for the 96ci on the FLTRSEI2.  Thought this might be a less expensive option than Rhinehart true duals!

And the dealer really has been no help - imagine that!!!

Any help/opinions would be appreciated....

Thanks in advance for the input and advice!

For an 09 and later exhaust you'll have to also mount the 09 and later model oil pan and drill and tap a couple holes in the back of the transmission case to mount a necessary bracket.

They will bolt right on. The difference in fitment is the 08 and earlier had catalist mufflers and the 09+ do not as the cat is in the headpipe.
