and on some bikes they are very useful in marking our spots ;D

You're looking in the right place those are the specs on the HD Shockproof. I'm not at home to look at the bottle to see what the label says. Only thing to go by is the statement they make in the specs.... "The viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to resist throwoff and provide a film thickness similar to a 75W250 grade, while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90." Sorry I can't offer you anymore info at the time I'll check the bottle when I get home tomorrow.

Yes, I can spell A M F and see the Union Jack when reading between your lines.

Rather than a temporary solution as you suggest, I just used a cork (small bolt) and permanently plugged the chain oiler and eliminated the inadvertant oil dripping.

yea,twolanerider, I did own a 72 shovel and a 50 pan, had to pay for the carpet in more then 1 motel room, where I parked them inside and they bled a little. but, Union Jack? hell, I am biker by choice, southern by the grace of God!!!! just hanging out here in the south west cause there is moregood riding time here.pretty much 365 days a year! ;) ;D

yea I find 75w250/75 heavy but, check that bottle when you get to the house for me if you don't mind, I would hate to buy a case of some chit I can't use, money could go to CHROME!!! thanks twincam ;) ;D
