Is it safe to say that if you change the cams you should also change out the lifters?   :nixweiss:

If you do not want the torque curve to shift to the right, then more work is needed with the 259E.

It does work very well in my CVO road king and my buddies CVO road glide.  But both bikes have head work, have 10.5 HD pistons, larger Trottle bodies, and injectors.

My 13 has 9K miles on the build, which is in my sig.  Pull hard from 2500 up.  It has been ridden to Key West and Milwaukee.

So yea, no extended warranty on my bike.  Runs so much better and smother than stock, I miss the power every time I ride my 12 CVO road glide.
Good advice.

Hello all. Need your opinions and advice. Have a CVO 2012 Ultra and have a ticking that am going to explore, maybe lifters? Who knows at this point but am going to open it up. Am thinking this is the time to change cam if I am going to do it. With the thought that I am going to stay with HD 'stuff', extended warranty and all that, can you give me your opinions on changing out to SE-259E cam? Am going to put in the Quick Install push rod kit as well. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I had 359e in my 103'' EG great power from 3k up but I am not racing so don't need to ride in 4-5k rpm. Did you ever consider GMR Performance genesis 577 cam, look on his dyno puls from 2k up to the end... I just ordered one for my CVO SERK '14
just saying.

And I believe roller rocker arms if the cam is high lift...
