Bike has been busy for the past two weeks.

On the Saturday the 12th a woman on a cell in her cage came over on me and hit me.  Mess up fairing and engine guard on the left side, and then bike went down on right side.  I did not get hurt at all, so I'm thankful.

Then rode said bike down for Biketorberfest, nice 1378 mile trip.

Yesterday dropped the bike off so they could clean it, then today they will be doing the estimates on the bike.  Adjuster will go see it Wednesday to make sure he agrees with the dealer on the damage.

Sorry to hear it and glad you are OK!  Bikes can be fixed or replaced,  people can't!

Dropped it off for the ESP Warranty repair of the heated grips about 6:45 AM (then took a 3 1/2 trip each way with a buddy for him to pick up another used bike for his garage) and picked it up about 3:45pm. The new ones actually have the little nubs on them just like the replaced ones used to 40k miles ago :P

That sucks.  Sorry Dave.  No matter how proactive we try to be and how much we watch other people's front wheels, heads, and anything else that might help there is some levels of stupid and/or simple error we just can't protect ourselves from.  After the fact you and the bike rode away from the incident and that is always worth declaring as a victory.  Hope the 'fest was fun and the bike fixes up well for you  :2vrolijk_21: .
True on riding bike away.

Biketorberfest was very good.  Especially Billy Lane's Sons of Speed.  A good friend was racing his 1921 board tracker in the 61 antique class.  The hot 61 class was really something to watch.  The 45 class was fun also.  Brittny Olsen is a heck of a racer, and this was her last race.  Several other females racing like Jody Periwits, and Rossmyers daughter.

My bike was dropped of for repairs when I got back, 8700 dollars worth of damage.

What all angles do you want? I think I put one or two in this thread a while back. One thing about these fat bars, it's a real pain in the arse to push them real far forward because you need space to get the little screws into the sides of the cluster housing.

The wife and I participated in the Annual Toys For Tots ride in Heath, Ohio on Sunday.   Weather was cold in the morning (30's) but got into the High 40's later!!!   Had a great time.    Had nearly 700 bikes at last count.  Out of all the bikes there, I did not see another '19 CVO Road Glide at all...    Makes me wonder about final production numbers.

Rode the FXR to a little diner that's worth the trouble about 50 miles from home.  Took 90 miles to get there.  140 more to get home.  Common Core.  Temps in the 60s this afternoon.  24 hours from then 40+ degrees cooler is the forecast with a "wintry mix."  Rode yesterday and today though.

I'll see what I can get. Might have to settle for pix in the dungeon (my garage) as it's supposed to start snowing tomorrow

Sent from my boring Droid phone.

No, they had it blocked off. It was wide open for awhile before the Westin was built, even after they came in you could do a lap or two without much worry. Ever since they had a fatality where someone was crossing the road in a golf cart and the guy busting down the back straight plowed through him it hasn’t been very inviting. They do open it up a few times a year for some nice events and I predict one day it will host another race.
