I had the same issue, always had a slight wet spot around the perimeter of the cover where its sits on the gasket, on the last fluid change it did the same so I torque the screws to the top end of spec and has been dry since. ( I usually torque to mid tolerance unless I encounter a sealing issue).
Rubber has a shelf life so it pays to replace the gasket each fluid change like any other gasket.

Haven’t had a chance to get a new gasket yet, I thought about torquing more but think it’s already to wet. It has the slightest dampness on it but will get a new one and torque it to the higher end and see what happens.

Moved the CVO so I could take the Pan America for a ride.  Beautiful 75 degree day in East TN.

Took the CVO for a fantastic 169 mile ride.  Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson had pulled pork sandwiches, chips and a soft drink for veterans at no cost to the veteran.  That was a great meal and very nice of them.  The weather was perfect with a high of 75 Degrees.

Had to move the K1600B out from in front of the trailer so I could take the FLTRSE3 out for a day trip over to Panama City FL for a nice Sunday ride. Hard to believe it’s almost 16 years old.

Took the CVO out for a much needed ride

Finally replaced the gasket on the clutch master cylinder. Set my torque wrench to 14 inch pounds, manual says 12-15. The gasket is sticking out a little more than it did when I flushed the fluid, hopefully I did it right this time and not over tighten it now. Especially since will be covering it for the long cold winter in the next week or so.

Tuesday I rode the CVO down to Daytona.  Traffic was the worst I have ever seen it out side Atlanta at 9:30 am.  1.5 hours to get though Atlanta, it was the north and south side, down town I was able to fly through.  612 Miles from Home to Hotel, 11 hours 5 minutes.  Rode just over 110 miles Wednesday, had lunch with friends in Saint Augustine.  Rode a little over 140 miles Thursday.  Bought a new Klock Werks 12" Sport Flair from JP Cycles while there.  No way in heck was I riding thorough Atlanta on a Friday afternoon.  Planed a back road ride home, 100  miles off interstate until north side of Jacksonville.  Then 498 miles of back roads, last 230 or so good twisty roads.  Ride was much more enjoyable and took 11 hours and 20 minutes to get home.  Put 1489 miles on the bike in 4 days at lots of great fresh seafood.

Damn that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Our riding season is just kicking in high gear.

Did a little over 300 miles Saturday with my HOG group. Rode up to Sebastian FL had lunch at Squid Lips. Yes you read that name correctly. It's an indoor/outdoor place on the water. I think there was 12 of us. Spectacular weather great ride good food

Dave sounds like a great ride except the Atlanta part. Yeah Atlanta is my home town but, but it ain't the Atlanta I grew up in anymore. Most of my family is gone so no need to get back to Atlanta. And yes like you Dave, when I'm traveling I do my best to avoid Atlanta if possible.
