Installed a S&S 55mm Preformance Manifold on my 2019 Street Glide.

We finally have a day with the rains over.

Heading out with big Pete to see if the dealer wants to take his trade in of a 2025 CVO road glide st for a 2026 CVO Roadglide st.

Why, you ask?
He likes the citrus red better than his current black!
Go figure!

Pete passed on the citrus red, the sales guys were playing “good cop, bad cop” games.

I suggested just get his bike painted the same color scheme as the CVO RR and maybe the same red which I like better than the citrus red. JMHO on the colors. There’s a local custom painter that can do that but it’s a long waiting time!

He has his current bike set up for touring, nice detachable luggage rack, taller windshield, different seat.
He’s about 6-4 and 350!

I think he’s just bored, just buy a used bike and play with that one while you ride the new one.
Gotta have at least 2 bikes, always have one to ride when we have a run on the calendar.

I got it uncovered and loaded in the trailer for Daytona Beach Bike week. The tires are low but I didn't adjust them
assuming the pressure will come up with the air temperature. My truck has a 12" screen which I can split.
Half for GPS and half for the "Baby monitor". I will try to add pictures. Leaving Michigan tomorrow.

That is very nice set up to be able to monitor the Baby.  Enjoy your time at bike week.  Friend and I are riding down Friday for 5 nights.  Yea, only two nights and a full day of bike week.  We will still have a good time.

Yepper be watchful of LEO. There are several new laws now that allow police to throw you in the slammer and take your bike. Lately eye protection has been a giant issue in Daytona.  A windshield DOES NOT count as eye protection.  If you have a full face make sure you shield is down or else.  Burn out, wheelies, reving motor, spinning donuts, music blasting.........all can get you tossed in jail.

I'll probably roll into Daytona next Friday I'm only 4 hours away. Really wanna see the King of the Baggers races. I don't do multiple nights anymore for bike week. It's just too darn expensive.

Yesterday I put my new Tag on the back of the CVO.  The Paul Yaffe plat frame looks so good, but is is a PIA to change the tag.  Yesterday was also the first day we hit 70 degrees this year, took a 150 mile ride.

Yesterday I took some time to look at a 2025 low rider ST advertised on the internet at a very low price.
 Had planned to get another bike for local rides and this one check my boxes.

Found out after I got to the dealer it was the old “bait and switch” scenario that the car dealers play.

I believe this dealership just sold to a bigger corporation.
The feeling dealing with sales staff and management is just like a car dealership. Not playing these games anymore.

The ride home on the big bike was HOT!
Wasn’t prepared for 90 degree weather!
