I installed my new Soundstream V2 radio to my 2021 SESG. Wow what a radio and amazing features. I have only barely scratched the surface of what it can do. Got it from Volunteer Audio.

Oops I forgot. Took 150 mile round trip ride from home to Scotty Martin's Tiki Bar on Lake Okeechobee. Great weather, lots of bikes out on the road. Got into a fun drag race on 95 coming home.

Nah an F150 and a small little white car wanted to run hard in the express lanes. I did my best to keep up, it was fun.

Rode to Daytona last Friday, Rode home last Wednesday.  Perfect weather for the trip.  600 miles each way, and with miles in FL put 1622 on the bike.  Place was packed with Cops Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Monday and Tuesday there were none to be found.

Yeah I have been hearing alot of bad things about the popo in Daytona during bike week and Biketoberfest lately. You commit the smallest offense and they'll arrest you and snatch up your bike. There are some rumors that locals want to either stop Bikeweek completely or scale it way down. Kind of reminds me of Ft. Lauderdale and spring break back in the 80's. The city decided to eliminate spring break for college kids. And they used laws and city ordinances to arrest hundreds and hundreds and eventually turned Ft. Lauderdale back into a family, non-party beach.

I was up in Daytona too last weekend. Weather was good. Stayed in ormond beach.  No problems had a pretty good time. I got to meet the guys from Bad Boyz Kustoms from California. That’s where I got my seat. Overall, I had a really good time.

I am a 4.5 hour ride from Daytona.  Started going in the early 90s.  Last trip was in 08.  Doubt I will ever be back with what it has become.

I learned that you will get a ticket if you do not have a reflector on the rear of your bike.  I know someone who was ticked for that.  Two of my three bikes have no rear reflector including the CVO I rode down.

I took off my reflector off my rear fender when I did the new license plate attachment. I guess I was pretty lucky. I didn’t have any issues with that.

I have run the Yaffee plate frame on 8 CVO bikes.  This setup has no reflector.  I have never been stopped for it at bike week.  Yet I have a friend that was ticketed for it this year.  Not sure if he did something else to bring it on or not.

New seat for the mako.    Bad Boyz did it again. Another great seat. I ordered it at bike week and it arrived today.  It's really nice.  Comfy too!

Was not my experience. I've been going to bike week for 40 years and this year was one of the best crowds I've seen in many years. The cops also weren't hassling bikers for ticky tac stuff. You had to be a knucklehead to get their attention and get pulled over. We had a great time!
