efi tuners for 2011 CVO Road Glide Ultra
« on: October 25, 2013, 02:12:16 AM »

I want to purchase an efi tuner, I just ordered Fulsac 2.25 sd baffles for my stock slip ones, and I have also removed the catalytic convertor so I will need to make adjustments. Thunder Max sounds great but is not cost affective, I have also looked at Mastertune and a few others, im leaning towards Superchips Vigilante FLASH TUNER.

I would appreciate any feedback as I am new at this and I don’t want to make a mistake.

I've had excellent luck with both the TTS and the Powervision.  I prefer the Powervision thanks to its ease of use and display.  But you really can't go wrong with either.

Thank you for your response, Power Vision looks like a really good option for me. Power Vision 549.00 and Super Chips is 439.00 but you have to use your android smart phone for the monitor.

powervision through fuelmoto is less than that, and you get double the factory warranty, and lifetime tech assistance.  order with the mods that you have and it comes preloaded with a decent map.  run some autotune runs and dial it in even further.

This.

$480 from Fuel Moto and it comes with the mount.   No one does better than FM when it comes to service after the sale.

Since your buying a Fullsac why not just get there package that handles this for you. Gives you total of matched parts and software to go with it.

As others have said, the Powervision is so user friendly and the support from Jamie at FuelMoto cannot be beat.

I agree.  The customer service is a non issue between these two tuners.  Both give service after the deal.  Nice thing about TTS.  You can go straight to the source.

:2vrolijk_21: Jamie and his crew offer world class support, I own both TTS and Powervision for my RGU and for me it's a NO brainer, the ability to use wide band sensors to populate the ve's without a lap top or a dyno is priceless IMO.

Both are good tuning devices,I just prefer the PV.

You first need to realize that you will get totally biased reply's to such questions, with each person justifying his or her personal choice of tuning package by of course recommending it to you, without any scientific data to back up the opinions.  That sort of recommendation needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

You indicate you are new to this tuning deal.  If that's the case, I'd suggest you might want to first check around to see if you have a qualified tuner nearby who could step in and tune the bike for you with your chosen package if you can't get it right yourself.  Just because a few other folks were able to do it themselves with the package they recommend doesn't mean that will be the case for you as well.  I remember for instance many folks being upset with T-Max units when the canned maps were no good and there was no one locally who would tune with that product.

Just a thought.

How much does the no-brainier system cost from best price source?
Includes the wideband sensors?
