Heated grips never keep my thumb warm and if I am riding in the cold The Gerbing works great. If my hands are cold my body is too so The Gerbing jacket liner and gloves are a must. Feels like riding in the summer till you get off the bike.        Bill best money we ever spent on the bike ride  whenever  no salt on the roads or snow
