Looks like a GREAT ride. Nice to see Harley's, BMW's, and Honda's mingling and nobody is bitchin

I did hear some screaming from Jimmy's bathroom though. When he dropped the "R" from "Screaming BMR"   
I raced Chris on his 1600 BMW, no contest though, gave up right before hitting 5th. BMW was pulling away at about 12' per gear

Now the big question, are all Californians really that crazy?  Now you can't push rocks into the ocean?

Yes some of us are crazy. Blithering! It's all the riding we do. Wait wasn't there a study that says riding keeps our brains healthy?

The state can't push rocks in after the area became a National Marine Sanctuary.  The Federal Government does not allow this.  The rest of the country is always trying to dictate what Californians can and can't do.    Next they'll be trying to control our bodies!

I thought it odd that they can't push rocks into the water but can build a shed that rocks roll off of into the water. Skipping the middle man.  I keep looking over my shoulder because I threw a rock into the water just to make a splash. Can you say R E B E L !

Beautiful photos. Back in the early 80's we spent a whole year planning a trip out to Calif to ride hwy 1 in Sept I think. The fog was so thick, most of the time we had to retreat to 101. Have always wanted to go back and these pics might be the push we need.

Not sure when you planned your trip but for all you Mid West, and East Coast members the best time to visit the Calif coast line is Mid Oct, Nov, and Dec. it's cooler inland and allows the fog to move out, making to coast line clear and beautiful.
