Heart Attack Grill, Las Vegas
« on: November 12, 2013, 11:54:41 AM »

For those who've never been there, the Heart Attack Grill is an incredably hillarious place to get a burger while in Vegas.  Not just any burger!  :o  Each meat patty is half a pound, so depending on which bypass burger you order, you're might be eating several pounds of meat.

As you enter, they put a hospital wristband and hospital gown on each person before you're allowed to enter the restaurant.  No gown.....no entry.  All the waitresses are dressed in tight, skimpy, nurses outfits.  If you don't eat all of the burger that you ordered...you have to get up on the paddle rack (a metal frame work in the center of the restaurant that you bend over and grab the hand grips and hole on while the waitresses get revenge for all women  ;D).  I laughed from the minute I walked in until I left.  The nurses seem to enjoy the paddling maybe just a bit more than you'd think. :P

They have a large scale to one side and if you're over 350 lbs. you eat for free.  There were a couple of guys there that ate for free.  A few months back it was in the news that a second man that was a daily customer died of a heart attack while sitting at the bus bench, just after leaving the restaurant.  Read the article here about him and the first guy that weighed over 575 lbs. and had been eating for free....   http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/02/13/heart-attack-grills-unofficial-spokesman-dies-of-heart-attack/

OK, I had the single bypass burger and I finished it.  But I did buy a t-shirt and had my little person nurse (here she is standing on a chair to take a photo with me) sign it.   ;D   I'm going to try to return tonight with my Nikon instead of my cell phone, for better pics for Jock.  :huepfenlol2:

We had one in downtown Dallas a few years back.  If I recall correctly they actually had a customer have a heart attack or some other medical problem that gave them some real bad publicity.  Didn't last long after that.

For those that didn't click on the links that I provided in my first post above, the owner is alive and well and his business is growing by leaps and bounds.

He admitted in an interview with media that when the first guy died (supposedly of pnemonia) that it created a huge media blitz that caused his business to grow very rapidly and that's what allowed him to move it to Vegas.  The same happened more recently, when the second guy did die of a heart attack at a bus stop near the LV location.

The owner still dresses as a Dr. and still does the cooking and he was their again tonight (see photo of Dr. with stethascope).

I've been accused of flirting with the nurses a time or two....

The windows are all "wrapped" so you can see out but they can't see in.  However, they did leave several windows clear for the viewing public to peer in on all the happenings.  ;D

I watched all these girls tonight.  The guys (men and women) get three paddles each.  All the nurses, after they finish administering the punishment, get kind of a glow and a really big smile on their face.....they couldn't hide it and they all did it!  I'm not sure what was going on there...kinkiness, revenge, retaliation...what is it?  I'm not sure but it was abundantly clear that each of them enjoyed it very much.

I'm a lightweight and wasn't about to humilate myself in public so I only had a single bipass burger but it's still HUGE.  Here's a photo showing half of mine....could you imagine a burger with more than one of these 1/2 lb. patties?

The good Dr./Chef...

The next time you're in Vegas you guys and gals really need to check this place out.....you'll laugh all the way through your meal.
