LED running light question
« on: November 14, 2013, 09:12:02 AM »

2014 Ultra Limited   Put the Custom Dynamics LED ringz on my front turn signals yesterday. They look and work great but the first thing I noticed was the green indicators in the dash flash much faster than normal. All their info says a load equalizer is not neccesary on the 14 models. The blinkers themselves flash normal, it's only the dash  that goes fast. Anybody else have this ??
Will call CD later when time permits.

I (my dealer) just put them on today and had to also put on their "signal stabilizer" to make everything work perfect. I originally tried to only do the lights and had the same issue so called CD and they told me I needed it.
Rode home tonight and they were awesome. worth every penny they cost. Gave me that light down low on each side that I didn't have before and felt I needed when I am in tight twisties out in the boonies (which I do often in the winter). I have read here that they make a big difference but I will say I was surprised by how much light they actually put out. Big difference for sure (not to mention they look amazing!)

Installed mine today. Turn signals on for something like 4 minutes and then cycle off then back on and it should blink the same speed.

I have them in my '13 without a load equalizer.  Work perfectly.

How can you hear any static?  I can barely hear music when I'm moving.  :)

Thanks.  If they ever get my clutch fixed so I can ride it I'll try that.

I have the front LEDs and they work fine, but my right turn signal doesn't work in hazards or normal. The left signal works I have the badlands load equalizer. .
And he'll would be great
Thanks ANDRI
