Rick, very glad you listened to your wife, I know thats not always an easy thing for us men to do. My friend had your symptoms. The doctors did a echocardiogram on me a couple weeks ago and found out this morning, my heart is only pumping about 25% so I may need a pacemaker. Going to have a consult about that on Dec.2. Good luck with your rehab. I am still trying to wrap my head around needing a pacemaker.

Hoping things are going well for you

Well I am just over 2 months post surgery and you all are right, I am starting to feel better.  I basically over do it and end up wondering why my chest is so sore.  I am still at the cardiac rehab facility 3 x's a week and getting stronger.

I do have a great story and can somewhat understand now what it must be like to be a woman!  Last weekend we took our little guys up to Traverse City to the Great Wolf indoor water park.  Well as I walked around with out my shirt on, from pool to pool and ride to ride I started to notice people were staring at my long zipper scar.  At first I didn't think anything of it until I noticed more and more people were looking at my chest.  It kinda made we want to get one of them swim shirts my kids wear.  With that in mind I thought of a T-Shirt I've seen some women wear,  the one that says I'm up here!  It kinda cracked me up and made me realize that women sure can be placed in some very uncomfortable situations.

Thank you all for the well wishes, it sure does help.

Good for you, Rick.  Keep up the hard work.  These things are reminders to live life to the fullest.  :2vrolijk_21:
