I believe that I enjoy sharing this as much or more than you like viewing it.

It looks like there are a number of Firefighters in this group. Most of the folks that I ride Snowmobile with are Firefighters; the two pictured in ColdHandlebar_10.jpg and other pictures are both Assistant Chief

ColdHandlebar_10.jpg: Taken near Glenwood Springs, CO. If you look below the left ski in this picture you can see the top of a tree poking through the snow. When we looked into the hole we could not see the bottom. We all agreed that spinning the sled around and getting the hell out of there was a good idea.

Look closely at this picture and you can see the sled tracks up the slope as well as a large Bungee cord attached to my rear bumper which runs over the edge. On a clear night you can still hear the laughter from the Montana locals that directed us to this amazing route out.

Your making me want to get a Snowmobile and we get very little snow here in Kentucky...

djkak - Your pictures are fantastic!  It looks like you guys were having a great time.  I live in the Atlanta area & as you know, do not get much snow.  I have snowmobiled a couple of times on vacation but nothing like that.  Absoluted great pictures, we are heading to Stow Vermont for Christmas & have already booked snowmobiles & am now really looking forward to the experience!

djak those are great pictures.  Here in Sacramento we get the best of both worlds.  Later today I'll be riding my bike in 69F weather.  But if I wanted to......I could drive and hour and a half up the mountain and be at one of the ski resorts that opened last weekend.  Thanks for shairing the photos.
