Rock formation
« on: December 14, 2013, 09:13:48 AM »

This rock fornation was brought here from over 250 miles away
long before the invention of the wheel and nail polish.
Would have put it under famous locations, was not on the bike.

It would take several big dozers and a couple of backhoes to get those big rocks out of that farmers field so he could plant crops.   :o

Took a public bus from Portsmouth for $4 to this exact spot in 1981. Walked all around it for about an hour taking pics. Total cost of trip, $10 and that included 4 pints at a local watering hole in Salisbury, when we got on the wrong bus, before going back to the BGB. Guess times are a changin?

If I read that link correctly, the only way you will be able to see the rocks without paying is by helicopter...............

I can settle though to looking at this one right here on the side of the PC.
