Floor looks great!  They have so many options to choose from.  Does anyone have any long term experience with this flooring as far as keeping them clean (e.g. tire marks)?  While my existing concrete floor has some stains and cracks, I pretty much wash it down yearly with a solution of muratic acid and water and I'm done.  Also, is it slippery when wet?  Don't need to ride into the garage and lay it down!

Eight years, 10 X 14 area in orange and black "coin" pattern. Clean is easy, it is made from polyethelene and is nearly indestructible. It IS slippery to some degree, certainly more slippery than acid etched concrete, so ride in slowly if you are coming back with wet tires, but I've never had a problem with it. They have a "grated" pattern that would appear to offer some grip, but it looks like a lot of crap would fall through the grids. Hope this helps,

I've had RaceDeck for about 2 yrs.  I've never had anything on the tiles that I couldn't get off with Simple Green (except tar - which came off with a solvent).  Tires will not leave permanent marks like you see on VCT tiles.  The only drawback to RD is - it is a plastic floor, so you can't drag things across the floor that are heavy and have a rough texture.  Also, if you have caster wheels that are rough (such as plastic casters that have been rolled repeatedly over rough concrete), these will marr the tile if the caster turns in place.  RD also has great customer service and stands behind their product.  Check out GarageJournal.com and click on the flooring section.  Plenty of info on RD there. Overall, I'm pleased.  Pic attached.

cons= if water gets underneath it will mildew and smell. Slag or hot pieces from grinding or welding will melt it. Jack stand may crush it. Direct sunlight will cause it to swell and buckle. When you walk on it it goes clomp clomp clomp. I still like it mines been down for 6 or 7 years

So I guess that answers my next question...liquids do get between and underneath the tiles.....so if you spill oil or anti-freeze you are pretty much screwed unless you disassemble the floor?

Actually they have a tile with open grids and channels that allow fluids to pass assuming your garage floor is pitched so fluids run out the door.  I suppose you could hose it down to help push it out, but that wouldn't work so well with oil.

I wash my cars and bike in the garage and have never had a mold, mildew, or smell issue.  RD sits on the floor but has channels built in the bottom to allow for air circulation and drainage.  The only jack stands I've seen that damage RD are the ones with sharpe edges.  I've sat heavy pointed items on my floor and the indention always goes away.  I addressed the "clomp" sound by putting landscape fabric between the floor and tiles.  Welding will melt the tiles, but welding is going to damage any floor covering.
