Longlast, thanks for the pictures.
I was able to come to England back in '87 for a couple weekends on each end of a week in France. Didn't rent a car, but did a lot of walking around. Did the touristy thing to Windsor Castle and Leeds for day trips. Beautiful area, but in reality probably not too far from London. Oh, we also went to Stonehenge for a visit too.
I wanted to comment on the housing and larger buildings.
My wife and I have been watching Netflix a lot and we've gotten hooked on British TV shows and series'.
We watched all of Peroit, Kingdom, Vicar of Dibly, a few other single movies and now we're in the 12th of 13 seasons of Midsummer Murders. We've enjoyed the country side filming a lot. The houses, villages, larger towns etc are all very charming. I'm sure just as there is here, there are "some" areas not so fancy and charming.
Thanks again for sharing.
