My service bulletin for the cooling water tank neck #0916 came in the mail this week.   Is this bulletin the fix for the leaks or something else?  Thanks

It's a service bulletin to fix some of the sources of leaks...   

There are other leak sources, such as the water pump, not covered by this bulletin.

Never heard of the pump leaking. I know the thermostat housing did.

There is a 75 page long thread on HDForums discussing coolant leaks on the new waterhead's.  I saw mention of water pumps in that thread, as well as thermostat housings, hose connections, etc...

So you could say I "read it on the internet"...

Thanks, I'll get it checked and wait for the next bulletin. Either way, i love the bike

Doubt there is a water pump leak but the thermostat housing is next to the pump so it look like it leaks on some.

Did a pressure test on mine and the thermostat housing did "sweat" so I swapped it for the new version.

Need to do the filler neck as well, although mine seem fine. No issues.

I got mine in the mail last week although it was dated from November.  Lost in mail?  It's a service bulletin to replace the filler neck to stop the puking.  They need to have a similar bulletin on the thermostat.  Here is a pick I took of mine yesterday.

What kind of half-assed dealer are you using?  Getting the part is the dealership's job, not yours.

Are you referring to the program to fix the coolant bottle overflowing or burping, or the thermostat leaking like in my pic a few posts ago?

I guess either way it shounds like you need a new dealer if they make you call for parts.

I had my filler neck work done last week and they replaced the thermostat too.  So far, I've gone over 300 miles with no leaks. 

Saturday, it reached 83 deg. in St. Louis, and i noticed EITMS kicking in at stops and when I shut off the bike at home the fans kicked on for about 20 or 30 seconds.

Yeah, you can turn it off, just like last year.

When did you get the bike? My bike was built in February. Is this a ongoing problem?

I got mine about 4 weeks ago (was still on pallet from HD when I first saw it). I asked and was told all the recalls were already applied. So far after about 650 miles no issues.  It has been hot enough for the fans to stay on after I shut it off 20 seconds or so.  I just had the rear trun signal bulb burn out. The speedometer is off about 4 to 5 miles an hour. I tested it this weekend. When sitting still it still reads about 4 MPH so I guess that is the main issue. I talked to the dealer and will get that taken care of shortly as well. So far no real issues and I was worried about all the items I saw discussed here so I brought them all up. I am lucky and do have a great dealer that really does work with their customers!
