Finally got the bike out and rode for a few hours yesterday. Temps were mid 50's in West GA, felt good to be back in the saddle for a bit.

We have a crippling storm system moving in this week I fear. Major ice storm and some snow, sleet headed in starting Tuesday and lasting until Thursday. This one will take some time to recover from, power outages and downed trees will probably be more common than we care to see. Hope everyone in the Southeast stays safe and warm this week.

Sorry man, but you're fixin' to get some of our meteorlogical leftovers...no offense.  Our winters have been running from October to May, and all I want is some dry pavement on which to ride!

If the weatherman is correct we have like a 30% chance of snow tonight BUT they are saying 60 by the weekend. :mango:  Maybe this warm will spread on out to my eastern friends

Finally got our first real snow of the winter this past week.  Coming with a vengeance too, snow all week.

Only had the blower out once prior this winter.

I guess I was bored when I started this thread, happy it is interesting. Since I knew I had a 9:00am doctors appointment Tuesday morning, yesterday afternoon (Monday) decided to go three miles from house to nearest station for gas and a loaf of bread. News had been saying all day how bad Tuesday would be, announced all schools closed Tue and Wed. Had to wait in line at the gas pumps and they only had three loaves of bread left. Oh yeah, county had already brined and sanded all the roads, even my neighborhood. lol All set, no problem.
How much snow did you get? You ask! NADA, NOTHING! Not the first flake. South of us now that's a different story. Now the word is Tuesday night and Wed. we could get 3-5 inches here in the valley more of course in the mountains. We will see. :nixweiss: Be safe, stay warm everyone!

Here it comes again, doom and gloom says the weatherman. All day Thursday into Friday. I can't imagine what it would be like to live north of here. I would go stir crazy. I can here all you northern brothers laughing at me, but I'm use to riding mostly year round. Bikes running great, and it keeps calling my name. You boys up north need to come get this chit and take it home. :'( :'( :'(

I saw that forecast and spent some time today after work shoveling off the ROOF  :confused5: I had about a foot of snow up there and with them saying we were in for another foot or more I figured I'd make room for it  ::)

37 day until spring.....on the calendar anyway.

We are getting 12 + tonight in to tomorrow no fun around here !!!!!!!! our 11th storm this season just went 3 days with no power and 5 days with no TV, Internet or Phone and here it comes again.
