fullsac cores?
« on: February 11, 2014, 09:01:23 AM »

Have searched for this so if I missed it sorry.
Have 2 in cores installed on 2011 cvo road glide, have done a little work on engine, cams, heads, 113",  and a few others. @ 115/121 now.
Question is would the 2" cores still be the best performing  choice?

At that power level the 2.25 core would likely show a small increase in peak TQ and HP.
Attached is a before and after dyno chart from a 2011 CVO110 with 259 cams and a 58 TB I tuned up last week after swapping to a DX Pipe and 2.25 cores.
Bike came in with TDs and HI outputs. Ended up running pretty stout at 118 and 124!

Cycle Shack makes replacement baffles for Soft Tails, should work on the Deluxe shotgun pipes as well

Footloose, I gave you some bad information, the baffles I replaced were on the Screamin Eagle Street performance mufflers for a 2013 Deluxe they would not fit your stockers, Sorry

I ordered cores from fullsac and welded them onto the ends of the original baffles.  All set and tuned.  :)
