Has anyone tried this?
« on: February 11, 2014, 12:25:23 PM »

I am looking to upgrade my air shocks to Progressive 970 Piggyback shocks (my ride is a 2008 SEUC3) instead of the remote reservoir shocks. I do not like the reservoir sticking out in front of the saddlebag. Looks like **** you know what to me. All I have to go by are pictures and it looks like that you may have to lengthen the brackets that hold the bags out a half inch or so from the frame. That would be so minor no one would notice this. So I guess my question is, Has anyone put 970 piggyback shocks on their bagger?
Thanks

If the Progressive website is up to date, it appears they do not yet offer the 970 for baggers except with the remote reservoir.  Give them a call to see if they intend to offer the piggyback version set up to work on a bagger (springs and damping would be different from what's currently offered for Dyna's and Sportsters).
