Aaaah, now I get it. No need to worry, there is already a bunch of people working at developing little gadgets to convince the active system to deliver more. Fact is, anything louder than stock is not legal. That is why H-D devised the active system, which beats the law somewhat.

There is also an issue with insurance coverage in case of an accident, becaue the mods may revoke the bikes street license. This is rather unpleasant to deal with.

What needs to be seen is, how the bike performs new. When I received my SEEG2 in late 2004 H-D did, in my opinion a horrible job by simply slapping the 88" parts on the 103" engine in Europe. That created over-heating engines with not much more power than stock 88". I am (still) hopeful that this may be different for the 110" engine (think lesson learned). If anyone is interested, I'll report on that.

That's a great description regarding the requirements and ramifications of your "flappers". I would definitely want to hear what you think of the stock 110" compared to your stock 103". I'm not convinced that they haven't done the same thing with this one engine either. People here say you can't even run this engine stock because it's too lean. It runs too hot. The 110" is a bored out 103" with crappy cams. That's why I'm modifying it before I even use it. I'm trying not to put any undue poorly tuned time on it. Maybe it will last better that way. I'm trying to walk the fine line between modifying it so it runs properly, while maintaining the 2 Year Warranty at the same time. I'll let you know what I think. The weather has turned cold here, but hopefully it will get a little warmer by the weekend. Take care Louis! ;) Hoist! 8-)

So far, it's going as planned. The bike's getting dropped off today and I'll be watching them uncrate (yes and getting pics) tomorrow afternoon at the Dealer. They'll be installing the Aux Light Kit, Smart Alarm II w/ Pager and the rear detachable hardware for my 2-up luggage rack. Hopefully, they'll have it completed early enough on Fri morning to get it to my friend's shop for the Braided SS gas lines, True-Track, SPO's, PC and low RPM Dyno-tune. I'll be amazed if I can pull all this off in the next two days though! With any luck, I'll be showing it off to the NYC GTG guys I'm meeting on Sat for the Bike Show in NYC! ;) Hoist! 8-)

I'm rooting for you buddy.  But that's a lot for everyone to get done in a short time.  Hope no one hits a bump in the road.  I bet it'd only take one to miss the weekend.
