Hoist,
I'm not absolutely positive, but I'd lay odds that it's the same Black Ice.  The Red/Black Ultra uses the black ice also, so I would assume that it's the same for the CVO Road King.  It's an awesome color isn't it?

I ordered the Black and Orange sight unseen.  When I picked mine up, that was the first time I had seen this color live and in person.  I had seen the Red/Black and Blue/Dark Blue, but no one had seen the Black/Orange.    I don't know if the dealership was trying to make me feel good or what, but everyone in the dealership, including the service manager, said that's the best color scheme they've ever seen Harley come out with, but then again, those are the Harley colors.   If they were just saying that for my benefit, who cares?  I really like it and you'll love the black ice too.  Pictures just don't do that color justice.

Hey Red    congrats on the new jester.  sounds like you are loving it. i can relate to the smile on the face  as i just got my jester on tuesday.  same machine .   i put on some under armour and gloves and did a 80 mile breake in midnite ride and it was a lovley  18 degrees out !!   the smile keeps the mind off the cold!!  the seat and grips are the ticket.  What did the dealer say about warrenty  with the pipes and a/c and sert?    again much good long-term luck with your new bike

I would highly recommend some heated gloves and a vest.  You will not believe how much it improves your ride Hoist.  And it might even get you out there when you may otherwise choose to stay in by the fire [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I'm kinda used to NY winters after all these years, but I've been looking at the Gerbing G3's. I'm not getting any younger and the winter's seem to be getting colder. Regardless, knees in the breeze year-round. Have a great holiday Rog. Hoist!

Ha  i have the gloves, vest and pants but didnt hook it up yet   figured i try it bare-pole   so to appreciate the expense.

i did use the H.D. heated gloves with out the juice and was impressed how good they were, i  have some Zanier's from germany  with nmih  batts in em and they work great.  too bad i didnt have the batteries charged.
I put the redline  MTL in the primary and the redline Heavy shock in gear box  and the amsoil 20-50 in the engine  after the ride.  now its the tear apart time for all the other goodies.  blue tooth, oil temp guage,head lite modulator   ect.  first i have to go deep fry a bird.

It's kind of like when young you ride a chopper, wide glide without windshield, then you get a Fatboy or RK with a shield, then its the radio and fairings of an EG or UC as you get older along with the heated stuff.

Actually however it is just that you got a lot smarter, should have just started with all the crap in the first place and enjoyed it.
