It is a beautiful day here in the mid-south, 70 degrees & sunny. Went out for a nice 200 mile ride with about 30+ plus people. A few hours ago it had warmed up so nicely, I decided to raise my sheild on my new Nolan and BAM, a frickin bee or something with a hell of a stinger landed right in between my temple and the padding in the helmet. Was going about 70 at the time so I assumed he was squashed, wrong, bugger stung the chit out of me, felt like I'd been shot with a 22 right in the temple, then flew his little arss out so I didn't even get to kill him. Hurt bad for about an hour, now I just got home, took the helmet off and the whole side of my face is all swollen like I'd been hit buy Ali. Itches like hell too. Took a couple of Benadryl and have ice on it but damn thing is starting to throp and it is still swelling.
Any suggestions, besides keep the face shield down? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif] [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
