Oh come on now Fired00d.  You're such a tease!

You are right though, that beauty would sure look good parked next to my '05... Although I'm having trouble swallowing the $48k+ pill (ticket price) here in the Great White North.

When you add in PDI, Freight, Document Fees, Tax, etc., you get real close to $56k - OUCH!   :o

How come those bikes (Ultra) do not have the stretched saddlebags?  :nixweiss:  To me, that is a distinctive aspect of a CVO....  Roadglides, Streetglides, Road King... all of them have it... but not the Ultras...  :nixweiss:

I don't believe the Road Glide Ultra's have ever had them either... Just the Road Glide Custom.

Maybe it's an "Ultra thing".

Heck Road Glides and Street Glides also have had the cool rear fenders and lights that I would love to have on my Ultra.  I know they just want me to buy another bike, but I have no more room in the garage between the wife's and my collection.

Dunno, but the  more I looked at the profile of my '11, the more I knew it needed something. Joe Z did a helluva job on my bags. I added the RGC fascia with tribar light to finish it off. Much better.

Don't know why and it's a complete turn off. Keeps me away from them altogether.

I will take a wild guess and say that Harley considers the Ultra's to be dressed up touring bikes and the others to be more of a stripped down custom show bike so they put all the cool stuff on them. :nixweiss: Just a guess.

Couldn't help myself the  got in me :D You have to admit that bike is a close match to the '05  :jalapeno: You're right I too would have trouble swallowing that "ticket price"... at that cost you could do a lot of mods to the bikes you own and have money in your pocket. I've outgrown a time in my life where I wanted (had to have) the newest and latest in vehicles... speaking of that at one time I would purchase a new vehicle instead of buying tires for it when it needed them. :D Granted there are some nice features on the newer bikes but if you've never had them you don't (IMO) miss them. :nixweiss:

DooD I admire that you have kept that bike so long and I hope to do the same with mine. The latest ain't always the greatest.

I hear ya. I just think if those bikes had the beautiful bags and rear fender they would look SOOOO much better. At that price you shouldn't have to do the bags and rear end yourself, OUCH!

Anybody know anything about the change in the cam?

"There’s an airbox for increased airflow and a redesigned cam to optimize low-end torque. It’s got the fastest 60 to 80 mph 5th gear roll on in the history of Harley-Davidson."

X2 on the stretched bags.  They should at least come on every CVO tourer.

Everything we had seen says the 2014 CVO 110 and the 2015 CVO 110 engine are exactly the same in both the Shower head and the Air Cooled versions. Both are advertised at 9.2:1 compression ratio and 115 tq., both use the same calibrations in them and camshafts. So while there maybe some people making claims as to them being different when the parts books call out the same part numbers and the calibrations are the same it's just advertising hype.

The rear of the Ultra is kind of strange now without any turn signals. You just have 2 holes there now on the filler panels.  So the CVO looks better then the Limited but no where as good as the Streetglide CVO. I am glad my 2013 has the extended bags and nice rear end.
