Thanks so much, Candy.  I will look forward to seeing your smiling face and receiving/giving that big hug!!  So happy to hear that your bike will be back on the road soon with a new heart, and that Jamie caught his before any damage was done.  Suzanne is looking forward to seeing both of you again as well...

Fantastic BB.  I like the Big Buddie reference.  Feels right to me.  I know you don't chat here for the numbers, but it is still nice to see.  Can't wait till we met again - Sounds like Sedona will be the locale.  Till then,  Congrats.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. And while I don't post for count, 5,000 is certainly a point to give pause and think about a few things.

When I joined this site there were a 1/3rd of the members we have now. There was an inner circle of that third that knew each other personally and I have to say, I was a dickhead abou pushing and shoving my way into that inner circle. What I thought was fun was pretty annoying to a lot of folks I know. But we've gotten by that and now I don't know what I'd do without a lot of you. And the site has grown and grown and I've become one of the ones getting all worked up over some of the newbies. Ahhhhhhh the circle of life eh my friends - - - what goes around, come around. So our CVO family is now quite large and diverse. And that's a good thing. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but I believe that my tolerance of other's people's opinions has certainly broadened since I've been a member of this site. Once in awhile the old 1%er in me comes out I admit, but I do try not to go off on folks. Why ? Because of the respect I've gotten from folks on this site. Respect = Respect. It's one of my oldest rules. So in that perhaps is the crux of why we shouldn't get upset when our posts get edited or deleted. The mods are just trying to ensure that whatever we think and feel the level of respect remains high. And as to getting posts deleted ?  Hell. I've actually posted as much as Twolane, but had about 1 in 2 deleted

Brian, post counts dont mean much to many of the core member here. but 5K definatley says that you have made a serious commitment to this site. you make a good point respect is a 2 way street. and most here do respect each other the majority of the time, even when we have our disagreements. you and I have shared   at both life's high points and low points and i look forward to our next

Congratulations on reaching 5,000 posts. I have to say, I see that you've posted, and I make the effort to see what you're saying. One thing about it, I always know how you stand on an issue. I promise to not bash Hillary in this thread.
