'Sounds (pun intended  :huepfenjump3:) like you are leaning towards the Sony, which is fine.

3 volt preouts (ICA) are more than enough.

The additional wiring is only 2 RCA cables

There are add-ons that will retain the handlebar controls (some work better than others ~ some have issues, some don't)

Make sure the Sony has Bluetooth ~ it probably does (once you go Bluetooth you'll never go back)

You can always sell the HK / CB module to recoup some $ (I highly recommend that you get the Sony sorted to your satisfaction before doing so)

Let us know how it plays (another pun  :huepfenjump3:) out for you.

Good Luck :2vrolijk_21:

Have riden several days in a row now since I removed the Nav unit and it has not cut out once , so I'm leaning towards that being the problem. Not sure what I don't have set up correctly yet but I'll find it eventually. Thank you all for the input , it was appriceated.
