Saw a photo of Breakout's CVO which appears to have footpeg scrapers on it. Does anyone know the name of these - have scraped my pegs fairly severely in only 500km - are they a Harley item of after market?

Mount the foot pegs like the system of the rear foot pegs, then they are higher and less problems.

I have installed Kuryakyn Switchblade Pegs, they have a scraper and are equipped with a flip out heel rest, very comfortable on long hauls.

Harley Davidson offers a Slipstream foot peg like the OEM foot peg with a Wear Peg.  See below:

I don't know what you are trying to show me?  I acknowledged that you can hit the road with your primary cover, as I have done this quite a few times.  What I was saying is that wearing a hole in it may be harder than you think, as mine still does not have a hole.  I ride my bike very low, so I completely understand the clearance issues.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the purpose of the peg?  Seems it will simply touch asphalt a lot sooner and only inhibit the turn.

Thanks guys - have found the scrapers in the HD catalogue - they are $8AUD each so have ordered 4 - maybe with the remount & the scrapers I may break even & save the primary chain cover...? Don't want to replace the whole peg every 3 months. I'm getting the hang of Harley cornering now anyway - using instinct & the heels of my boots to know when I need to back off - will probably need new heels before long! Did a 220km ride yesterday & lovin it. So different to my other bikes.
