Ever pay attention to other bikes both behind you and oncoming. Many lights appear dim. Those dim lights appear dim because they are pointing at the ground looking for frogs. For safety, to be seen, be sure your headlight is adjusted properly, and run your light on high beam during the day. I want to be seen!
When you run your high beam, there should be no oncoming traffic, and obviously you want to see all you can. I could never understand why when you flip your high beam on to see all you can, the spot lights auto shut off. When I asked Harley, they did say many states won't allow all the lights (3) on the same time?? Regardless, at my request, they hooked up their computer and now my spot lights stay on all the time, a noticeable difference! I never thought about the turn signals, being amber more visible than white during the day, but I think your right.
