Should have got the key and heck you should even use it.  Looks cool and actually works.  No sense keeping it as an ornament.

Cheers

I know my 07 SEUC came with a gold key in box nd the key is cut to my bike. I tried it once just to make sure and it is completely functional

Concerning the european CVO, they are delivered with a special key but it's only a commemorative key, decorative  ::) only !
It'll be nice on my desk  :) but not to use with my Jeester ! :'(

I bought my 05 SEEG used and the original owner did not have a key.  I wanted one so simply gave the local dealer my VIN and they ordered it for me.  It is keyed for my bike and actually works.  Cost was $95, including tax.

Both the 04 and the 05 SEEGs came with a key --------- in bubble wrap, the dust covers and I also got given to me from the dealer -------- a nice framed VIN plaque and little paint bottles.  Sure wish I knew what I did with those little paint bottles, I got a great big ding in my front fender.

I won't ask how you got the ding  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] but you can order a touch up kit for the cherry SEEG from your dealer for $35.  And I won't tell you how I know this !![smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

So from what i gather the older CVO's came with the cover but you had to buy the key(true for my 2002 serk) and someplace along the way they started giving sorry they really don't give started supplying new purchases with a key. Now, question,,, [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] the key will not function as a key or will it? Not on my bike. Anybody else that their key works on their bike?

Mine works fine as I didn't receive original keys with purchase. Came in a couple weeks later. Came in same black box as shown. 07 jester.

I am sure you knew you would get: [smiley=worthless.gif] Let's see those ponies.
If I'm not mistaken this is the family of Gary/Teresa and there are some pictures somewhere of all of them w/their bikes. I believe Gary/Teresa have spot in the "gallery".
