I hear you Gary, but let's imagine that you, hd-dude, Hub, Q, BB, 2Ln, Jorge, Tc, JCZ, Ernie, AK, 103, Grover, Scot, Canuck, Duke, Big Al, Harry etc. etc...........you get the picture, are all out rockin' down the road, Hawg Tunes blastin', hair blown in the breeze (well the breeze part anyway) stretchin' out the legs on your new motor etc.

But your not at the CVO development and I roll in in my Gulfstream 5 (dreamin') and decide to go for a ride.  I haven't been to the Florida house for 9 months, there's been power outages and lord knows what else and my bike is dead.  I manage to get it jumped and I have no gauges or lights; I don't want to ride any of my other 4 CVO's, I want to ride my  [smiley=pumpkin.gif] I bought off eBay last year and had dropped at the house with my caretaker.

All my bro's that have the knowledge are down the road on the way to our CVO GTG in Key West.

I'm not going to get someone to come back and I wouldn't, even knowing you all would.  I want to get Sam down at the shop to run over to the house.  "No problem Rog, we'll have your  [smiley=pumpkin.gif] up and runnin' in no time and you can catch up with d00d and the boys in no time," say Sam.

Remember, Sam's also going to have a complete machine shop for diamond cutting (including the nameplates) and all other engine/head work we need.  (Besides punkinownerswife said "we can dream of a perfect world") Sam and the shop are in my "perfect world" he doesn't have to be in yours, but your bike looks really plain without his orange pwder coat and diamond cut jugs [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Give a bro a break here d00d, I'm only dreamin'  ::)
PS: Sam's shop has a member (if you own a lot/house you are a member) lounge with a fully stocked beverage center and Negro Modelo on tap [smiley=drink.gif]

Roger,
Point well taken. I guess in my dream I'm thinking I would want to be at this place all the time, and wouldn't even have another house anywhere else. Either way I guess we can have it accommodate both of us since it's only dreams now anyway. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Add to that I'm sure if you were away and we knew you were coming back we could/would have your bike ready for you when you returned so you could catch up w/us.

Sounds like a great idea.  It has to be somewhere warm though.  Sign me up.

OK, this would be like the Chicago racing development for the guys with sport/race cars.

I would imagine that for many this would be a second home (the dreaming part).

A [highlight]fully complimented shop [/highlight]with full time manager who would have staff that could assist owner/members with all things technical.

Roger,
I agree with all except the part above. If we require all owners to be members here, then we will not need to have a full time manager/staff. We have way more knowledge then any shop I know of. Along with that we treat our bikes a lot better then any shop, therefore we could have our own tech seminars, those that were more proficient in one area could help others out. Sort of like the "bartering" method. [highlight]Of course my specialty would be "Cleaning & Detailing, and minor bolt on of accessories. [/highlight]
Wow, I'm ready to put my house on the market and move!!! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

  I would help Helen to develop that dreaming community and we would need you here for a while since you were who started the list.....

That would be the topper, may as well add bing the developers to the list as long as we're dreamin'.

It's an adventure at this point, but it will get done sooner than later, right now it has 3 feet of snow, going over this weekend.
