Ooooooo, chrome starter, very nice! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I think with that and the other pieces you mentioned, you'll be in pretty good shape in the chrome department, but better double-check that with 'dood just to be sure. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] ;D

OK 'dood, I can tap the dogs obedience class fees since he was kicked out due to constantly humping everything in site; french poodle, great dane, pug and the instructors leg. So what else do I need?

Here's one (or many, depending on how you look at it) . . . . . . . . What about chrome hardware???  Yeah, that's right, replace all those fugly-looking bolts with chrome ones to match all the other chrome stuff you're adding.

Chrome, Mark.  Think CHROME!!!!!

Seriously if you are getting the chrome starter you may as well do the chrome inner primary. The money saved on the primary gasket (doing it only once), and the fluids will be significant, that and the labor time since it will be torn down anyway. The other two items I mentioned can be installed by you (they are easy I even did them :D).

/me wishes he had thought of this when he did his chrome inner primary :(

With the few minor things Brian and I suggested, and what you already have your scooter is going to be "Bling, Blinging" [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Your not much for abuse of the moving parts so I don't see a problem.
 [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

That's pretty true anymore.  Must be getting old I guess.  Haven't broken anything in anger on a car or a bike in close to a decade.  On the bike I've certainly become a long day rider rather than a hard moments rider.  Yet another reason I'm hoping and expecting not to have much issue with the clutch.

Did actually take the bike out for awhile late this afternoon.  No high RPM runs yet.  But applying enough torque to lift the front wheel and the clutch held fine.  So I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that's something that won't need to be worked on.

Gary, looks like doing the oil filler spout is completely do-able with the pipe on after all.

Definitely do-able.  Just that much easier if the pipe happens to already be off though.  It's like a 10 minute job if the pipe is off and 25 minutes and three swear words if the pipe is on.

Oh well since you put it that way... Brian how did you miss the obvious.....

You say you are getting the chrome starter??? May as well add the chrome inner primary (60739-01) while you doing that. Let's see what else....

Oh, how about the Lifter Block Cover (18248-99), and if you decide to do the Chrome Inner Primary you may as well continue that theme with these - Cylinder Base Cover For Twin Cammed-Equiped Models (32753-01). ;D

D00d, if you've got him doing the lifter blocks you've got to get him to do the matching pushrod tubes. Can't screw up the theme man  [smiley=orange.gif] !

An interesting sidenote; when I went by Bumpus this morning to add a couple of things to the ever-expanding list, the service manager asked me if I'd heard about the H-D xtreem and SE guys going over my bike last week. I told him I had not heard anything what was it about? He said when they were in town a couple of weeks ago they went back and were talking about the Legends Airides on my bike they had seen. Well to make a long story short, the SE and the xtreem guys came back, knowing my bike was there in the shop to take a closer look at the Legends. He said the guys spent a long time going over the bike and when they finished they told the service people that they were going to try to add them to the an SE package.
So if any of you SE design guys are monitoring this, please feel free to send me a fee for being design consultant. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Also for a few $$$ I have a couple of other suggestions for you. ;D
