I did the 6 speed trans change, how much oil?

Thanks in advance for the help, I have a '06 FLSTFSE2 with the SE. 6 speed upgrade how much oil dose it use now? thanks.

You'll love the 6 speed.  A lot more snap to it and smoother shifting.  I use 24 oz in mine.

Firegabe,

If you have not yet, next change swich to the Redline HD Schokproof, tranny fluid, you will not regret. Have it in my HD SE Six Speed.

Double the "Redline Shockproof" oil!

I use the Belray gearsaver 85w140 and it sure is alot better than the syn3 crap.

tripple the redline shoockproof syn. lube. have a cool U-L -X-MAS 8-)

just got my SE6 speed installed last week, got my redline shockproof in today!!!!!!!!!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

LOL, what stinking oil??/ who needs oil??? can't hear them gears if you use oil!!!!! ;D besides its only 150 miles from the shop to home!!!! [smiley=confused5.gif]

Hoist, I see your fron NYC, I will be coming that way in March, got to deliever a job to the Broncs zoo, plan on trailoring my scoot w/job then riding back, by way of Daytona of course, what kind of weather can I expect up that way that time of the year??

Glad you're coming my way. I'd be happy to help you out if I can. I'm not going to Daytona this year, but if you'd like, we can take a ride and I'll show you the sights. The weather is completely unpredictable that time of year. You know what they say "March comes in like lion and goes out like a lamb". For the most part that's probably true here. With the weather these days, you just never know. You should be prepared for anything from snow to beach weather. PM me if you'd like and I'll give you my no. This way you can keep in touch when you need to. Hoist!
