latest Dyno on my 103
« on: May 29, 2014, 02:16:32 PM »

So here is the latest dyno on my 2003 roadglide with 1103 motor 50 mil t body V&H trueduals V&H twinslash rounds se 257 cam Kompressor heads 10.5/1 compression SE racetuner. I made them change mechanics the other guy never listened to me and only did high speed runs.
Gumby did a much better job. its not perfect but I understand why.Tru duals don't help my low end if I want better may have to change to a 2/1 exhaust. the rear cyclinder lean spot  was cleaned up and now is smooth max power 106.74 max torque 116.22 Graph could be prettier but but I'll deal with that later for now its time to ride.

Richer than 10-1 At 2500? Fixed the lean spot indeed. You may want to look into getting that map touched up a little. Give Pokey a shot at it.

:2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:      This is the kind of result that has lead me to recommend people just avoid Harley dealerships if they want a proper tune.  Two different guys in this case, and two lousy results.  Maybe the dealership should hire a real tuner to go along with the equipment. :nixweiss:

The part that amazes me the most is that these clowns actually print out these charts and give them to the customer.  We have to assume they are totally clueless.  A real pro would be too embarrassed to admit to a result that looked like that.

I had a bike tuned with some new pipes once and got a torque curve similar to that one. I took it back and told them that a drop in the curve from 2000-3000 like that was not acceptable. A large displacement v-twin should be very strong down there. They changed out the pipe baffles and redid the tune for a very nice building curve right off idle.

Who can say if a particular HD dealer does not have a competent tuner oh staff?
