I used the syn3 for the 50 mi break in and actually made it home with 81 on it at midnite @ 18degrees and proceded to drain all 3 holes. no flush needed.  the amsoil 20-50 and heavy shock and mtl are all compatable. did the oil filter also. stayed with the 5  micron oem . now at 500  doing it all again and then at 1k.   then will leave it in for the long milage.
