Ride the Alps

I had a chance to "Ride the Alps" this weekend, great weather, great event and fantastic folks there.

Ride the Alps is a sponsored event by the Edelwiess Hotel (military hotel) in Garmisch Germany.  This was my first ride, on the 8th of such events.  It was pretty good and a great group of riders showed up.  I don't know for sure but I would say there was maybe 250 bikes there.  On the last day (at 9:30) they had a parade through Garmisch, I missed it (over slept).  Gives me a good reason to go back next year.

Yes they were pretty amazing.  They use to use them to communicate from one mountain to the other.

So many nice roads and so many tight winding roads.  There were roads that were two lanes that shoudl had been one.
