According to the story, the car turned left in front of the bike.  The driver was cited for the improper turn and having a suspended license; however, the bike rider had no MC endorsement and was cited for that.

I saw an interview with the motorcyclist, he said he definitely didn't want to land on his head because he had no helmet on. Good situational awareness but a poor decision not to wear a helmet on his part IMO.

2 drivers who should not have even been on the road. Glad he had the ability to land himself like that. If you pause the video at the 15 second mark it looks pretty bad....
