Wow, I noticed the chart starts just under 3k, curious to see the chart from like 1500 rpm. Must be that 650 cam. That looks like a great setup for an HBRR member.

I wouldn't want to turn the throttle wide open @ 1500 rpm on a 131" motor but that's just me. Chart looks nice! Congrats!

Were the build specs shared with this build of the 131?  Do you happen to have a dyno sheet that is a little lower in the rpm range to start like 2200-redline?  If you don't have one do you happen to know the numbers in SAE?   The fun factor of big torque builds definitely outweigh the cost of the rear tires.

Great early torque numbers but can you tell me why it falls so bad?

The 408 is not a big cam duration wise and engines are just air pumps. A 131 will take eat up duration in a cam. We have run the 640 cam in the 120, 124 and 131 and in a 131 its a much sooner hitting cam with with very low compression. Not wanting hi jack his thread, with other dyno sheets.  The one we did was set at 10.5 comp ratio so think 170-175 CCP and it still was making 120 tq by 2500. The 640 was more square  in hp and tq with final numbers in the 147 hp and 145 tq.  To me this 408 build is  a hard hitting touring monster style power band. In a dyna it has to be a tire roacher at a flick of the wrist with the front tire heading up.  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Don't know all the particulars of the build, ie head numbers, intake manifold ID, plenum volume, etc, etc, etc.
Should be able to put down a bit more hp than it did, yes sir.

Those are some big numbers in a Dyna frame, I'd be a little nervous twisting the throttle off the line, lol. Does the set up come with wheelie bars?

Thanks for the responses I just thought there was a lot of general decline of power production in the 4-5000 range which surprised me. I would find that more consistent with the touring style of power production in general. I agree would have to be very careful with the throttle coming up out of the corners in second or third to avoid spinning out and down. Massive power for sure and tons of thrills, I'd give it a spin. :2vrolijk_21:

Speaking of wheelies in a Dyna, currently have a client in here that ripped the front mounts off the cases from continually coming down to hard.
..............and now he wants even MORE power....... :)

A lot of bikers are lunatics. :carrot:

Count me as another. I get wheel spin on my Dyna and only had a little front end lift a time or two. I see the wheelie posts of the baggers and imagine the front ends won't last long. :D

If it's yours you get to tear it up. That's why they call it your money and my money. ;)
