Bill, the Harley chromed backplate won't work with the Zippers intake.

Don, I suffered through this same decision for many weeks and I was hell bent on replacing my stock football cover, but couldn't find anything that jumped out at me.

Don, got a brain cramp, ever think of having the stock football cover powder coated to match the engine and leave the chrome insert stock with SE script?  Might look pretty good.

This one is obviously not in your poll, but here is another idea to consider.

Saw this cover today - Kuryakyn Hi-Five Air Cleaner today in J&P catalog and noticed no one had mentioned this. It's similar in design to the SERK3 cover, but not sure if it'll work w/your application. The picture below is from an angle and it appears the bolts you are wishing to hide will still show, but this may be do to camera angle and not be noticeable from head on. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Bottom right of page shows this fitament...

The trouble with finding the guy, however, is that I found what else he was doing.

As it's been from the beginning though Gary, the hard part is just figuring out precisely what I want to do.
